as new additions to openhouse, barcelona, i am presenting these two drawings by santiago fernández de mosteyrín. conceived at the same time, these drawings using china ink with calibrated pens on fabriano paper, are named ‘one‘ and ‘two‘. ‘one‘ (170cm x 170cm) is of a mountainscape, and while is of many trees it is one unit. ‘two‘ (102cm x 150cm) is of two people yet becoming one unit. the form of the mountains also take the form of the two bodies. ‘one’ took over 9 months to complete. both , along with other smaller drawings are displayed in openhouse
