im often talking about houses built in japan, or those from the case study or barragan and niemeyer. yet here in spain we have some amazing architecture practices like campo baeza and rcr. this morning i came across this house in dezeen by hidalgo hartmann who are based in barcelona. this house in pocafarina, near olot in catalunya is a concrete cross, held only by four pilars with a central courtyard. this floating cross has amazing views to the valleys at the bottom of the pyrenees. olot is an amazingly beautiful area, and a few good architecture practices are there. i will start to show some of there work, and it’s well worth a visit.
