as you have already guessed, i love house design in japan. and atelier bow wow are one group of architects at the top of my list. this new beach house is great. it is divided into two. first a wooden box that holds the entry, staircase, bedrooms and bathroom. then behind is a glass box, help aloft by a concrete floor and a sloping roof. here is one room living, dining and kitchen, with a huge terrace above. see more from atelier bow wow here
